Text insert: Angie, how does bbw international work with foreign companies?
Employee Angie Dröber sits on a sofa and replies: "I am in charge of project management for our numerous foreign projects. For example, I organize trips for foreign delegations coming to Bavaria. I put together a program for them at Bavarian companies and accompany them. The aim is to establish contacts, for example between Africa or Central America and Mexico and Bavarian companies, and the foreign experts or specialists should also receive a kind of further training here. I organize such trips here in Bavaria and then accompany them. At the same time, I also work on foreign projects, for example one in Mozambique. There, we are currently trying to digitize a training course."

Text insert: What do you enjoy about your job?
Angie Dröber sits on the couch and explains: "You have to organize a lot, you have to be able to get people excited about something, you work together in an international team—we're an international team here in Hof alone. My colleagues come from Brazil, Syria, Ethiopia, Turkey. So we are incredibly diverse and international here. It's a lot of fun because you get so many impressions and you realize that if you are open-minded, you can still work well with everyone. And yes, it never gets boring."

Angie Dröber explains while sitting on the sofa: “For example, if I only needed two hours of sleep a day and then felt as fit as a fiddle, I would love that. Because the day is actually always too short for all the things you want to do.”

Annika Bruhn – Project Manager

Annika Bruhn works in the international division of bbw gGmbH. As a project manager, she is responsible for projects in Mozambique and Uganda. In the interview, Annika tells us that she first accompanied international delegations at bbw as a student and completed an internship on a project in Mozambique. She also talks about what makes project-related work so exciting for her and why she particularly appreciates the versatility that cross-national and cross-continental cooperation brings to further education.
The following superpower would make her everyday life easier: Annika would like to be able to beam herself, as she spends too much time on the road and would also like to travel more sustainably. The video was produced in 2023.
