Responsible for processing of your personal data

Purposes, legal basis
We process your personal data to inform you about the services of the responsible party, to enable you to visit the site, and to optimise, secure and operate the online services; the processing is primarily necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the responsible party.
Data categories
In order to respond to your request for pages and services, your IP address is recorded in connection with the content accessed (time, success, error, response status).
The following data is also temporarily logged without personal reference: shortened and daily randomly added IP address, associated with date and time of access, page of origin, accessed content.
In order to plan our page design, the operating systems, browsers, screen sizes, etc. used by you are statistically summarized without personal reference.
The data will not be merged with other information about your person.
When a contract is concluded, e.g. for a course of study, personal data that you provide to us for this purpose is used to conclude and fulfill contracts with you and is stored for the purpose of documenting and maintaining the customer relationship.
Storage period
To ensure the proper operation of our systems, we log access to our services. There is no automated linking with data from other inventories and no profiling.
The purpose-bound log data is deleted after 1 year at the latest. The duration of the usage of cookies for speed optimization and secure system operation varies from session cookies to a duration of 2 years.
Recipient categories
Due to legitimate interests in joint management, data may be processed by internal service providers of the group of companies under the same conditions that would be applied by the controller.

Matomo
Our website uses the web analytics tool Matomo to analyse site visits. Matomo uses session cookies that are only temporarily stored on your system.
Matomo is configured to be data-saving. Information about the use of our website generated by a cookie is stored on our server. Your IP address is immediately anonymised (shortened and randomly supplemented) and retains this value for a maximum of one day. In this way, you remain anonymous to us as a user.
The data is only processed internally and is not passed on to third parties. It is only used to identify and improve relevant content on our website. Social media appearances
We maintain social media accounts. Registered users of these platforms have the opportunity to communicate with us there and connect with our accounts. In doing so, we become aware of information stored in the users' profiles and messages, which we may use for further communication with these visitors. We have integrated buttons on our website that allow you to visit our social media accounts. Only when you click on the button will a connection to the respective service be established and data about the origin of our website be transferred to the platform. By visiting and interacting with the platform, personal data is also processed by the respective platform operators. We use the service to prepare and publish our posts and to clearly track events relating to our companies and offers on the various services. YouTube
We use YouTube plugins to embed videos.
