FAMFISK SENEGAL AND KENYA

Promoting agricultural value chains through practical training and research

The project aims to develop practical qualification programmes for students, teachers and farmers. Delegation visits, summer and winter schools and specialised further education measures are used to develop innovative solutions for local challenges.

Bavarian coorperation in Kenya and Senegal

Three bavarian Partners – the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT), the Maschinenring Foundation gGmbH (MRF) and the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) gGmbH – working closely together to implement the Project FAMFISK successfully. 

This cooperation makes it possible to pool expertise and resources of the partners and develop innovative solutions to agricultural challenges in Senegal and Kenya.

Practical training by bbw

bbw organises summer and winter schools, where students and specialists work together on practical projects. This enables an intensive exchange of knowledge and ideas and strengthens the link between academic and vocational education. 

By taking these steps, bbw is contributing directly to the development of local agricultural value chains and the promotion of vocational education and training in partner countries.
