Green professions and new perspectives

The project strengthens the project partner CMED (Corps Marocain pour Education et Développement) by providing guidance on the development and adaptation of training programs in green and sustainable sectors. bbw supports the creation of new curricula, target group-oriented teaching materials, as well as the further training of teaching staff and company trainers.

The goal is to integrate one third out of a total of 750 trained young people (50 per cent of them women) into the labour market by the end of the funding phase. The partner school develops gender- and climate-sensitive models for vocational education.

Entrepreneurship and collaboration with the private sector

The training programme is expanded to include green topics such as horticulture, renewable energy, elderly care, building maintenance, and recycling. In addition, companies and interns receive professional support during internships. Furthermore, fifty young people qualified by CMED are supported in starting their own businesses.

These measures enhance the career prospects and employability of graduates in the "green economy." Through close collaboration with the business sector, we ensure that the educational offerings are optimally aligned with the needs of companies.
