The concept of Technical Seminars

A group of about 20 people pose for a photo outdoors, with a man in a patterned cape kneeling and stretching out his arms. Buildings and trees can be seen in the background.

During the week-long program, groups of up to 18 entrepreneurs, executives, and technical experts will have the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and concepts from Bavarian companies and institutions and to establish valuable personal contacts with colleagues in Bavaria.

The ministry covers most of the program costs in Bavaria. Participants bear the costs for visas and travel to and from Germany. In addition, a contribution towards daily meals is expected.

bbw organises 13 specialist seminars in 2025

In 2025, bbw organized 13 study trips – eight of them in Bavaria and five abroad. On the trips abroad, four experts or entrepreneurs from Bavaria travel to the respective country together with a bbw project manager and present their company with specific solutions or services to the invited local experts. This allows many more experts to be reached and addressed personally.

In 2025, bbw project managers traveled with Bavarian experts to Egypt, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, and South Africa to discuss solar technology and e-mobility, sustainable agriculture, food technology, local value creation, and renewable energies. Numerous foreign experts were met and promising contacts were made. We look forward to future cooperation with the respective countries.

Delegations from Brazil, Central America, Colombia, Kenya, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, and South Africa came to Bavaria in 2025 to address the topics of waste management and environmental education, water and wastewater management, hydrogen & waste-2-energy, environmental technologies, and the circular economy.

The bbw would like to thank all Bavarian companies for their active participation, which made each study trip in 2025 a very special and successful event.
