Successful training

The picture shows eight people gathered around a table in a workshop, working together on posters, a laptop and a projector.

As part of the ToT Kenya program, a total of 200 teachers and multipliers will be trained at 8 vocational training centers in Kenya by the end of 2025. The goal is to improve training methodologies and labor market orientation in vocational education.

Through workshops in 4 counties of Kenya, participants will enhance their didactic, pedagogical, and digital skills. This will improve the quality of education and support the integration of graduates into the labor market. The multipliers will contribute to the sustainable development of vocational education.

Collaboration between vocational schools and private sector

The collaboration between vocational training centers and the private sector in Kenya is being strengthened to better align vocational education with the needs of the business sector.

Entrepreneurs and company representatives actively participate in workshops to promote practice-oriented training content. 100 company employees take part in professional development and public events. Decentralized networking and exchange formats, such as business days and working groups, enhance sustainable cooperation between the education sector and the Kenyan private sector.
