Partnership-based cooperation for better, demand-orientated vocational training

The joint project between bbw, local vocational training institutions and the Moldovan Chamber of Industry and Commerce aims to improve the job opportunities of apprentices – through practical training in collaboration with local companies.

IHK strengthens its role in the vocational training system

Signing of Cooperation Agreements between bbw and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova

The Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) is implementing a vocational training partnership in Moldova from 2023 to 2026 to promote practice-oriented training programmes in electrics and metal. 

The aim is to strengthen skills in vocational schools and companies, improve the public perception of vocational training and support the Chamber in its role for dual training. 

The partners are three vocational schools in Cahul, Bălți and Chișinău as well as the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Strengthening vocational training in Moldova

The project primarily focuses on providing practical training for teachers in schools and companies to enhance the quality of vocational education in Moldova. 

The training courses introduce modern teaching methods for practice-oriented lessons, the use of new, cutting-edge equipment, and simultaneously promote stronger collaboration between schools and businesses. Workshops on topics like vocational guidance and labor market-relevant qualifications also contribute to establishing long-term, practice-oriented training.
