BINA Maroc puts young people to work

Since 5 October 2020, 120 young adults between the ages of 18 and 24, including 53 young women, have been taking part in a practice-oriented short qualification programme through the Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der bayerischen Wirtschaft - bfz gGmbH.

Rabat, Centre de la Deuxième Chance - This measure offers them improved job prospects after 3 months. The practical rooms for the fields of electrical and solar energy, hotel & catering, geriatric care, warehousing and logistics as well as sanitation were equipped accordingly so that the trainers, who are trained by German experts, can teach their students in a practical way. In a first phase, the participants were observed and advised on their talents, competences and interests. According to the results of this so-called profiling, the participants were then placed in the appropriate vocational qualification measures. In order to ensure real practical relevance, they are on in-company internships in December. The cooperation with companies and the dedicated support of the BINA trainers should ensure success in the integration into the labour market. In addition, the integration measures are complemented by a new business start-up programme to advise and subsidise promising projects.
