    Our project “Organic Egypt” with 4 associations and roughly 1000 organic farmers shows great results on its promotion of organic agriculture.     In the Vocational Training Partnership Program bfz supports disadvantaged youths in Lebanon at job preparation and job placement in the local labor market. The cooperation happens with the local Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) in Baalbeck. The project is carried out in cooperation with sequa and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) under the Vocational Training Partnership Program.

    On 4th July 2019, the new photovoltaic (PV) plant at the wastewater treatment plant in Zahle, Lebanon, with a rated output of 202 kWP (kilowatt peak) was completed. It is an extension of an already existing PV plant (55 kWp) from 2018. The plant was installed by bfz in cooperation with the Lebanese solar company Smart Age.
