Small-scale Measure for Vocational Training in Macedonia comes to an end

Small-scale Measure for Vocational Training in Macedonia comes to an end

During the 16-month small-scale measure, following a needs analysis, a total of 5 training sessions were held by German trainers for teachers and instructors, a digital handout was developed, two networking events were held, and marketing materials were developed. A total of 45 people were trained during the training sessions.

A basic understanding of the importance of practice-oriented training, as well as different teaching methods, was created.

The participants also gained initial experience and know-how in the field of digital learning. It is particularly important for the future development of the country that young people also acquire digital skills, which can be taught by the teachers as part of the training. As an introduction, the digital handout presents the German training system and was further developed together with the trainers of the trainings in order to now provide assistance for the implementation of the in-company training, as well as to give teachers and trainers tools and methods for the implementation of valuable lessons.

hrough the networking events, it was possible to generally promote the structure and advantages of dual vocational training and the prospects it offers young people. At the same time, through the participation of parent representatives, parents were also informed about the development opportunities through vocational training. The networking events are therefore a first step in raising awareness of and marketing vocational training.
