A national conference, organised in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, gathered vocational schools, private companies, public institutions, and the Ministry of Education and Research to discuss the path forward for dual education.
The event was part of the Vocational Training Partnership Moldova Project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa gGmbH and implemented by the bbw Group. The project aims to strengthen cooperation between schools and businesses, improve the quality of training, and give young people the practical skills the labour market truly needs.
The atmosphere was one of consensus: Moldova needs an education system that goes hand in hand with real-world experience. Dual education bridges the gap between what students learn and what employers require – creating a win-win for both youth and companies.
Valuable insights were also shared by the Ukrainian Vocational Training Partnership Project, underlining the importance of regional cooperation and mutual learning.
